The best words to describe Laura from our school days together are quiet, kind and always sweet. I haven't seen her since the 20th class reunion. She was the same lovely person and I know that's how she left this earth. Blessed to have known her.

Laura and I were "cousins" - by virtue of our parents' close friendships from their days at CHHS.  We spent much time together in elementary school, and while we went to different junior highs, we still had some time together with much laughter ( and many puns as well as mealtime hijinks)  with her fun loving siblings.  Laura  always had such a positive and sunny outlook.  We didn't spend as much time together while at Heights - Laura was on Homecoming court and I was a GGC-MC geek spending way too many hours on the 4th floor,  but we were bridesmaids in each others' weddings,( as were our mothers before us).  Unfortunately we lost contact after starting our families and moving away from CLE for a while, but met again under the sad circumstances of her sister Cathy's illness and memorial service.  I was so sad to find her obituary when I had hoped to make contact and encourage her to come to our reunion.  Rest in peace dear bright eyes Laura.
