I have been in nursing since 1979. I have been in management for over 25 years now. I had a consulting business for 10 years and decided to give it up because I was doing too much traveling while the kids were small, although I loved being self employed. I now work as a Director in a hospital in California, but I have recently also started my own company again, this time called the Healthcare Leadership Coalition which focuses on teaching health care staff and the public about Health Care Reform, Health Care Policy and how to advocate for health policy and quality health care. I also am also speaking nationally on subjects crucial to healthcare and leadership.

I have six wonderful kids the youngest just turned 14. I have two awesome grandkids 2 and 6 and one very adorable grand nephew who is 3 and a newly born great niece.

I have been blessed to have an amazing husband!

I love to travel and have been to every state in the US and have been abroad several times.

I just moved back to California in November after being in Michigan for over 20 years and I am so excited to be back in warm weather and close to the ocean!

My life has not turned out at all as I imagined, but it has been an amazing journey and I look forward to all of the adventures that life has to offer in the future.

School Story:

I have so many wonderful memories, mostly, I admit from my junior and senior year. That is when I was the most active, in Glee Club, Choir, Drama Club and tons of other activities. I made wonderful friends that have lasted a lifetime. I know some teachers that are no longer around changed my life and my perspective on life forever. I cherish their memories. I also cherish some wonderful memories of classmates we have lost. I have lost track of many classmates that I kept in touch with for many years, but life has a way of taking unexpected twists and turns and we lose touch with people as we try to balance work and life. I was hoping to be able to come to this reunion, but with my new job it is impossible to come in July. I am very disappointed.
